youth
ministry

The youth ministry at First Baptist Irmo encourages youth from 7th through 12th grade to know God's word, develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, and become active in the church community.  It is important for us to pass down the truth of the gospel to the youth at FBI for them to grow spiritually in their formative years and to equip them to make an impact for Christ both now and in their future.

Get to know us

Hi! I'm Theron, the youth intern here at First Baptist Irmo.  I am the middle child in my family, love playing sports, games, working on cars (and driving them), and lots of other activities.  Most importantly, I love and trust in my Lord and savior Jesus Christ.  My desire is to see the Gospel spread throughout the world, but it starts locally at home first.  I look forward to meeting you should you desire to visit us, it will be worth your time!

Standing on Skis

Ski Trip

Ski Trips are a beloved tradition by our youth. It is filled with time on the slopes and, more importantly, time in the scriptures! The fun never ends on this trip! Each trip you attend will make you more excited for the next one!

Pupilage

Bible Study

What is a youth group without good classic Bible studies? At First Baptist Irmo, our youth meet twice on Sundays for Bible Study.  Once during Sunday school at 9am and on Sunday nights at 6pm. Additionally, during the summer months of May-August, they study scripture on Wednesday nights at 6pm. The students are free to ask any questions they may have, and learn how the scripture applies to their daily lives.

Beach Fench

Beach Trip

Here at First Baptist Irmo our beach trip is a time to get away for a few days during summer break. It includes lots of time in scripture, accompanied by the waves, the sand, and of course the sun, as well as various outings around the area! This trip is a big help when it comes to enriching our youth.
