Lead Pastor, Clark McCrary

Clark McCrary is an Irmese!  He graduated from Irmo High School, and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, and a Doctor Of Ministry from Luther Rice University and Seminary with a special emphasis in the development of Spiritual gifts.  His passion is introducing people to Jesus!

Clark and Allison have four grown children and one grandson.  Clark enjoys people!  His hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing, and grilling!  Allison(also Irmese) is a partner in ministry!  She has a passion for Bible teaching and singing!  In her spare time she is a partner in two technology companies.

Interim Music Minister,  Dewey Waters

Dewey is a long time member of First Baptist Church.  He and Marsha have served many roles in ministry here.  Both are graduates of Mercer University.  They have a son, Adam, who is a student at Clemson University.

Dewey brings a great blend of musical talent, direction, and heart to our team!  He is employed by Lincare, Inc. as a Personal Account Consultant.  Marsha is employed by the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.  At the church, she serves as a deacon and as a Sunday School teacher.
